As our President and Director of Construction Services, John oversees and coordinates all Envoy's operations through the assigned team members. He makes site observations and resolves problems as they arise. He maintains quality assurance and tracks schedule adherence to detect adverse trends. He makes periodic warranty reviews and finalizes Envoy's project involvement.
John is responsible for managing the Envoy processes of cost estimating, value engineering, project set-up, contract preparation and administration, AIA billing preparation, cost controls and overall project coordination with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers and client/owners.
John is also responsible for:
- Assisting the Owner during the early planning phase
- Conducting the public forum to solicit public input
- Conducting the 1028 Hearing and the preliminary determination hearings
- Assisting the Owner in organizing the advocacy group
- Assisting the Owner during the organization of the referendum or
remonstrance process
John's project experience includes new construction, remodels and interior renovations, tenant build-outs and additions for schools, correctional and governmental facilities, hotels, medical and recreational facilities, offices and laboratories.
Varied construction skills have given John the ability to blend seamlessly into Envoy's project mix. His education, training and experience have prepared him well for the complex and challenging roles of President and Director of Construction Services.
