Pinewood Elementary School Additions and Renovations
Project includes new auxiliary gym addition. Support spaces include stage area, fitness room, new locker rooms and connecting corridor. Major renovation items include renovating existing mechanical room to corridor space to improve circulation. Also, updated finishes in corridors.
Challenges
Extending the mechanical systems all while keeping the existing school online required extensive coordination between the Owner and Contractors.
Relevancy
Provided the school with a larger gymnasium and more kindergarten rooms. They were able to remove the temporary buildings used in the past.
