Sheridan Elementary School
A new elementary school on a green site. This school is a one-story steel structure, mostly comprised of high-impact drywall partitions with a sloped, shingled roof. The gym/cafeteria area is masonry walls with a minimally sloped roof and the interior has high quality finishes throughout.
Challenges
Due to the extensive utility work to connect the school with the town utilities, coordination with the town was imperative for this to be a successful project.
Relevancy
This new elementary provided the school district for future growth, as well as replacing an older building that had large operating costs and maintenance issues.
