Hobart High School
New 324,474 SF High School located on a green site, featuring a large gymnasium, and a 40,000 SF field house. Extras include a “Great Hall” with vaulted ceilings and large storefront windows and doors, and a first-class football stadium as well as other athletic facilities.
Danville Middle School
Extensive site work and new building construction. Including a rolling site bordered by a certified wetland area. The building pad had to be built up 9’ at one end of the building. The school was constructed to hold 900 students in the classrooms but the common spaces were built for 1200 students for future expansion.
East Central High School
Project includes additions of an auditorium, large athletic field house and a two-story classroom addition. Major renovations were to kitchen, cafeteria, media center and music area. Finishes were upgraded in all other areas throughout.
Lawrence North High School Natatorium Additions and Renovations
A new 25m competition natatorium addition that also included locker rooms and grand connecting corridor to the competition gymnasium. The pool was designed with movable bulkhead to accommodate necessary instructional use and have the ability to host large invitational meets.
Sheridan Elementary School
A new elementary school on a green site. This school is a one-story steel structure, mostly comprised of high-impact drywall partitions with a sloped, shingled roof. The gym/cafeteria area is masonry walls with a minimally sloped roof and the interior has high quality finishes throughout.
Sheridan High School Additions and Renovations
The high school project consists of the addition of new high school administration offices and major renovations within the school including the Media Center and three Science Labs. Three high efficiency boilers were also added to improve the efficiency.
Hobart Middle School
Project includes new drives, parking lots and sidewalks. Added new canopies at all entrances. 80% of interior spaces were completely renovated to be more suitable as a middle school.
Belzer Middle School
Project includes new auxiliary gym addition. Support spaces include stage area, fitness room, new locker rooms and connecting corridor. Major renovation items include renovating existing mechanical room to corridor space to improve circulation. Also, updated finishes in corridors.
Morton High School Performing Arts Academy
Renovated existing music and shop areas into new performing arts center. The space was reconfigured and new HVAC was added. The acoustics were improved in existing walls. New finishes were added throughout the area and ADA upgrades for two-story spaces and restrooms.
Lake Central High School Renovations and Alterations
Extensive renovation to central area of high school. Heavy renovations to "open up" the congested corridor. Added skylights for natural light and a large restroom area.
Peru 2010 Energy Conservation Measures Design-Build Project
Envoy performed as the Design Criteria Developer, Owner's Represenative, and Commissioning Agent on this Design-Build Energy Conservations Measures project. With our consultants we established the basis for the project and set the energy conservation goals. The project resulted in a successful average reduction of 30% or greater in the four facilities included. Peru Community Schools will benefit from an ROI of 5-7 years.
Pinewood Elementary School Additions and Renovations
Project includes additions & renovations. Additions include new kindergarten rooms and a new gymnasium. Renovations include new kitchen with new equipment, renovation to old gym area into new cafeteria. All other areas in school received new finishes and mechanical and electrical upgrades.
Riverview Elementary School Additions and Renovations
Project includes new classroom wing and addition with a gymnasium, kindergarten rooms, renovated kitchen and cafeteria area. Also, added new finishes throughout existing areas. Performed mechanical and electrical upgrades.
