Design-Build

In a Design-Build delivery method, the Owner contracts with a single entity for the complete design and construction of project. The entity or Design-Builder team typically consists of a joint venture between an Architect/Engineer and one Contractor.

In this delivery method, Envoy can serve as either the Contractor on the Design-Build team or as an Owner's Representative to implement an upcoming Design-Build project.

The Owner's responsibility in a design-build scenario is to prepare a project description, requirements and budget. The Design-Builder then provides a price which includes the development of the design, issuance of contract documents (specifications and drawings), and completes the construction and warranty phases for the project.
