Design Phase
The focus now turns to the building itself. Envoy oversees the design of the structure, controls budgets, sets schedules and criteria and participates in the public meetings.
Choices determine reality. Each element in a project plays a part in its overall outcome and this often requires balancing what the community wants with what it can afford.
It is during this design phase that the professionals (architectural, engineering, financial, legal and advocates) cooperate with the Owner to set and achieve the goals of the project.
Envoy represents the Owner's best interests by helping to balance the components and successfully fulfill the Owner's original criteria.
