Testimonials - Iran G. Floyd

Dear Mr. Dawson,

I would like to take this opportunity to express my appreciation to Envoy, Inc. for the leadership provided to insure the Kankakee Valley Intermediate School was built to specifications and within budget. I would like to compliment Rick Ervin and Tony Nardini for the professional way they handled the project and the many trade personalities they encountered. A personal thanks is also extended to Rick for his "Stay To It Attitude" in working with contractors to complete punch list and warranty items.

The corporation is very pleased with the building and the way Envoy, Inc. handled the project from the bidding process through completion. This is not to say that at times there were not problems on the job that maybe could have been handled differently for a faster response time for correction in some board members eyes, but the end result was Envoy, Inc. stood by the corporation and got the result in the end that was satisfactory to the School Corporation.

In my twenty years as a superintendent I have experienced many building projects and feel from a superintendent's standpoint the KVIS project turned out to be the best because Envoy, Inc. took the point position and maintained the point through completion of the project in a very professional and competent manner. Communication was open at all times between your project managers and myself on all aspects of the project. The real positive to having Envoy, Inc. on the project as Construction Manager was it allowed me to attend to other corporation needs instead of being on the construction project on a daily basis.

In closing I would point out that in the future, if school corporations are considering Envoy, Inc. for construction management, please feel free to have them contact me.

Sincerely,

Iran G. Floyd
Superintendent
Kankakee Valley School Corporation
